Start here — the 90-second checklist
If your 8-digit sign-in code isn't arriving, run through this list before anything else. Nine times out of ten the answer is here.
- Check spam, junk, and promotions tabs. Codes come from
noreply@ineden.app. Some inboxes (Gmail especially) route automated mail to Promotions by default. - Wait two full minutes. Email is occasionally slow at the inbox provider's end. We send the code instantly; the bottleneck is almost never on our side.
- Confirm the email address you typed. A misspelled email address sends the code somewhere it can never reach you. Re-enter your email exactly.
- Request a new code. Codes expire after 10 minutes. If you're past the window or just want a fresh attempt, hit Send a new code on the sign-in screen.
- Try a different sign-in method. If email continues to fail, tap Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google — same account, different door.
If it still doesn't arrive
The issue is usually one of three things:
Your email provider is filtering us. Some corporate and university email systems aggressively block automated mail from new senders. Add noreply@ineden.app to your contacts or safe-sender list and request a new code. If you control your domain's email rules, allow-list our domain.
You typed a different email at signup than at sign-in. If you originally signed up with firstname.lastname@gmail.com but are now trying firstnamelastname@gmail.com, those are two different accounts in our system. Try both spellings.
You used Apple's Hide My Email at signup. If you signed up with Sign in with Apple and chose "Hide My Email," Apple gave us a relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com — not your real inbox. To sign in by email code, use that relay address (you can find it in Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple → In Eden on your iPhone). Or just use Sign in with Apple again, which is the easier path.
Still nothing after all of that
Email us at support@ineden.app from any address you can reach. Tell us:
- The email address you signed up with.
- Whether you've tried Apple or Google sign-in instead.
- Roughly when you signed up.
We'll work through identity confirmation manually and get you back in. This is rare — under 1% of sign-in attempts hit this path — but when it happens we treat it as urgent because being locked out of your own community is a real problem.
