Four ways to sign in
In Eden gives you a few ways in, so you can pick what feels easiest and never get locked out:
- Email and password. Set a password the first time you sign in, then use it to get back in quickly. Passwords are stored only as a salted, one-way hash — we can never read yours.
- 8-digit email code. Enter your email, we send a code to your inbox, you type it in. The code expires quickly and can only be used once. This always works as a backup, so a forgotten password is never a lockout.
- Sign in with Apple. One tap on iPhone. Apple doesn't share anything with us we don't need.
- Sign in with Google. One tap on Android or web.
Pick whichever feels easiest. If you signed up with email, we'll ask you to set a password so future sign-ins are one step — but the email code stays available any time you need it.
I forgot my password
You're not locked out. On the iPhone app, tap Forgot password? Email me a code and sign in with a one-time code instead — then set a new password under Settings → Security if you like. On the web, use Forgot your password? on the login screen and we'll email you a reset link.
What if I don't get the code?
Check your spam folder first. Codes come from noreply@ineden.app. If you still don't see it after two minutes, request a new one — codes expire after ten minutes, and asking for a fresh one is faster than waiting.
If the code keeps not arriving, your email provider may be blocking us. Try a different sign-in method (Apple or Google) and email us at support@ineden.app so we can investigate.
Why eight digits instead of six?
Six-digit codes are the standard, but eight gives us meaningfully better protection against brute-force attempts at the cost of one extra second of typing. Worth it.
Signing in on a new device
Same flow as the first time — your account isn't tied to a specific phone or laptop. Sign in from anywhere and we'll bring your profile, connections, and groups with you. You can see every device currently signed in under Settings → Security, and sign any of them out remotely.
I'm locked out
If your email account itself is compromised or lost, that's a real problem because email is your primary identity here. Email us at support@ineden.app from any address you can prove is yours, and we'll work through identity confirmation together.
