In Eden is a community for women who want to gather around their values. The goal is simple: make this a place where you feel safe, seen, and free to show up as yourself. These guidelines are how we hold that possible.
What we're building
A city-anchored, values-aligned community. Members come from different backgrounds, different faith traditions (some Christian-rooted, some just spiritually open), different life stages, different cities. The connective tissue is a shared commitment to gather intentionally.
What belongs here
- Kindness and curiosity — even when you disagree
- Vulnerability shared with consent and care
- Celebrating other women's wins
- Honest conversations about faith, work, relationships, growth
- Inviting each other to real, in-person gatherings
- Asking for help, and offering it
What doesn't belong
Any of the following may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent account termination:
- Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks. Disagree with an idea, never attack a person.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation, or socio- economic status.
- Sexual content. In Eden is not a space for sexually explicit messages, images, or solicitation. Conversations about relationships and intimacy can be part of a thoughtful community — pornographic material is not.
- Spam, scams, or commercial pitchesoutside the proper Founder, Partner, or Vendor channels. No pyramid schemes, no multi-level-marketing recruitment, no "DM me for my link."
- Misinformation about health, science, or public safety that could cause real harm.
- Impersonation.Pretending to be someone you're not — another member, a celebrity, a public figure — is grounds for immediate ban.
- Content violating another person's privacy.Don't screenshot and share private DMs. Don't post identifying information about others without consent.
- Proselytizing or dogmatic pressure. In Eden is a faith-rooted space that welcomes people at many stages of belief. Sharing your faith is welcome; pressuring others to adopt yours is not.
- Illegal activity. If it's illegal offline, it's not welcome here.
- Content involving minors in unsafe or inappropriate contexts. We report CSAM and imminent safety concerns involving minors to the appropriate authorities without delay.
Safety in real life
In Eden connects members in person — at Partner events, Markets, Classes, and City Group gatherings. When meeting someone from In Eden for the first time, we encourage you to:
- Meet in a public place.
- Tell a friend or family member where you'll be.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
- Report any concerning behavior using the Report button on their profile or by emailing safety@ineden.app.
How enforcement works
When a violation is reported, our moderation team reviews it within 24 hours for routine issues and immediately for urgent safety concerns. Depending on severity and history, actions include:
- Warning — for minor first-time violations.
- Content removal — the specific post or message is deleted.
- Temporary suspension — your account is paused for a set period.
- Permanent ban — your account is terminated. Serious violations (harassment, safety threats, CSAM, impersonation) are ground for immediate permanent ban.
How to report
Every profile, message, post, group, event, class, market, vendor, and partner page in In Eden has a Report button. Tap it, pick a reason, add context if you want. Reports are confidential — the person being reported is not told who reported them.
For urgent safety concerns, email safety@ineden.app directly.
Appeals
If your account has been suspended or banned and you believe it was an error, you can appeal by emailing appeals@ineden.app with your account email and a brief explanation. We review appeals within 7 business days.
These guidelines may evolve
As In Eden grows, these guidelines will evolve with our community. We'll always give notice of material changes. Your feedback shapes how we hold this space — email community@ineden.app with suggestions.
